We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Lakewood Home Office Team!
ABOUT YOU
You have 4 to 6 years of payroll administration under your belt. You soar in written and verbal communication skills and have strong interpersonal skills. You have previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, payroll systems, and any other related software. You also have an excellent working knowledge of accounting practices and tax laws, particularly CA. Effective organization and time-management skills, which helps you master your craft. You can comply with HIPAA regulations and the confidentiality of client information. Lastly, you are no stranger to having FUN!
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher - preferred
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Here are some of the more specific areas where we need your expertise:
- Collect and verify employee and timekeeping data
- Compute wages, deductions, benefits, and wage attachments
- Update, and audit payroll information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires
- Record and maintain employee records and payroll transactions
- Respond to employee questions with a lens for customer service
- Ensure compliance with company policy, relevant industry regulations, tax and deduction laws

Hourly compensation range of $28-$32 /hourly
