Excellence Recruiting is seeking an amazing Pediatric Dentist to join a fast-growing, multi-site leader in the Dental Industry. You will be partnering with a dedicated team of Dental professionals in the fast-paced environment of their Spokane and Post Falls practices.

The Pediatric Dentist will navigate the two close locations of Spokane Valley (Washington) and Post Falls (Idaho). (20 minutes drive).

This permanent position is Full-time, On-site, with a work schedule of 4 to 5 days a week between Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm.

Pediatric Dentist Overview:

The Pediatric Dentist will be responsible for conducting examinations and providing comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents.

The primary goal is to help patients flourish by improving their overall wellness.

Pediatric Dentist Responsibilities:

• Arrive prepared and ready to huddle with the team a half hour before the patients.
• Conduct examinations and provide comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Perform restorative treatment of primary and permanent dentition.
• Perform interceptive orthodontic treatment.
• Collaborate with referring providers and other partnering physicians regarding the complex treatment of pediatric patients.
• Perform pediatric moderate sedation and/or in-office general anesthesia attended by board-certified anesthesiologists.
• Spend lunch with the team, setting your expectations, and working to continually improve communication.
• Grow and empower others by offering support in all areas of patient treatment.
• End-of-day huddle with the team to discuss daily wins and opportunities, making sure all treatment notes are in.
• Attend a webinar or coaching session to improve your leadership skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of pediatric dentistry.
• Prescribing medication.
• Assisting in continuing education, and on the job training of new dental staff.
• Placing primary and permanent crowns.
• Placing composite fillings.
• Extracting primary and permanent teeth.
• Placing space maintainers.

Pediatric Dentist Skills Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate has completed a Pediatric Residency and holds two current dental licenses, for Washington and Idaho States. However, it is possible to start with only one license, while applying for the other.
• Possess a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry Program.
• Dental license and certificate to practice pedodontics are required.
• Ability to be a team player while supporting and assisting dental staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Conscious Sedation and General Anesthesia
• Nitrous Sedation Certificate per State requirement
• Current CPR Card
• NPI Number
• DEA Certificate
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients and parents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pediatric Dentist Compensation:

Our client offers compensation based on production and growth. The salary range for the Pediatric Dentist is up to 31% of net production with a base guaranteed of $1350 production per day.
