We are a highly passionate and skilled interdisciplinary team seeking a dynamic, talented, and fun Occupational Therapist to join our family. Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating schedules with the front desk for maximum utilization of the therapist’s time in face-to-face interaction with your clients.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served.
- Therapist will be responsible for the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related criteria for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations.
- Evaluates all patients referred for occupational therapy to establish treatment goals and treatment plan.
- Treats new and existing patients following the treatment plan prescribed or developed by you.
- Discharge patients when treatment is fully complete and all patient goals are met.
- Keeping chart notes and administration up-to-date with all relevant data included (per company guidelines/procedures and policies). Ensure your supervisees do the same.
- Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team in helping the patient and their families achieve the highest level of functioning.
- Supervises all patient care delivered by licensed assistants.
- Participates in planning and implementing new services and staff development programs.
- Actively participates in continuous quality improvement.
- Asking patients who are doing well to refer their friends and family at any given opportunity (QA checks, discharge visits, etc.). Ensure your supervisees do the same.
- Participating in staff meetings and team meetings.
- Keeping records of all the above functions in a way that there is a record of all production.
- Referral Source Visits/phone calls with a frequency of at least every 6 months (every time a report has been written.
- Pediatric: 2 years (Preferred).
CA OT License (Required).
