Positions available immediately for early intervention, pediatric occupational therapists! This is a contract position and hours vary depending on your availability – part time or full time opportunities available.

Special Tots, P.C. is a therapist owned company and a direct vendor with the San Diego Regional Center. Our referrals are for babies and toddlers, 0-3 years old. Our referrals typically present with - general developmental delays, delays due to prematurity, delays due to genetic or physical diagnosis, concerns of ASD, and sensory concerns/picky eating. Therapy services occur in the child’s home.

We serve a variety of locations in San Diego including Central SD, La Jolla, Carmel Mountain/Poway, Vista, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido, East County, National City, Chula Vista, and South Bay! If you are not in one of the these locations, no worries! We are open to expanding, just let us know where you would be interested in covering.

Responsibilities:

• Must be self-sufficient to contact clients and formulate schedule independently
• Complete evaluations/reports (1-2 times a year)
• Keep record of SOAP notes and billing (forms provided to you)

Qualifications:

• Must have a current OT license in CA
• Must have professional liability insurance upon starting
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Early intervention preferred
• Bilingual therapists will receive bilingual pay. Spanish speaking therapists are in high demand!
• Experience with the medically fragile population a plus!
• BLS/CPR
• COVID vaccination required
