Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/Feeding Therapist
Job description
Looking for extra work during after-school hours and weekends?
We are a growing pediatric therapy center located in Wyckoff, NJ and we want you to join us in our growing practice!
Our mission is to provide each child with excellent individualized professional therapy services in a warm, fun, and collaborative environment. We believe that therapy should address the whole child to maximize his or her ability to function physically, academically, socially and emotionally.
The Village Therapy Place is seeking providers of speech and language services for children of all ages. This includes early intervention (birth to 3 years old), preschool (3 to 5 years old) and school age children (5 years old and up). We’re looking for dynamic, caring Speech Language Pathologists who excel at motivating children and communicating with their parents. We provide a positive, fun, warm and supportive environment and offer our families education and encouragement to help their children reach their goals. The SLP is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of various delays. These can include but are not limited to: expressive and receptive language, oral motor and feeding, articulation, phonology, pragmatics, and fluency. Experience leading social skills groups would be a plus.
The SLP is an integral and vital member of the interdisciplinary team. At The Village Therapy Place, we firmly believe that a team approach strongly enhances progress. That’s why we emphasize collaboration with the entire “village” involved in a child’s care. Helping parents, siblings, administrators, and teachers understand a child’s strength, as well the challenges he or she faces is key to achieving success.
If you love working with children, gain satisfaction from empowering them, and connecting with the child’s “Village”, we would love talking with you!
