Responsibilities:

• The Pelvic Floor & Continence Center navigator will interface with the Pelvic Floor team and patient assisting with the coordination of all aspects of the referral process.
• This position will provide non-clinical guidance to staff and patients at the Center, facilitating the completion of the new patient packet, running insurance eligibility, checking benefits and ensuring pre-certifications and appointment confirmations are obtained.
• The navigator serves as a point of contact and liaison between the patient, the referring provider, the specialty provider, and any ancillary service providers, in implementing the care plan.
• He or she will review patient records and referring physician orders, facilitate any appointment scheduling that is a part of the plan, maintain thorough documentation and answer questions to ensure patients are informed throughout the process.
• In this specialized role, the navigator expedites the patient's ability to obtain services and provides an elevated patient experience as it relates to the process of pelvic floor and continence care.
• Provides front-office support/coverage as needed and any other duties requested by the manager.

Requirements:

• Associates degree - Preferred
• Equivalent experience in healthcare registration, precertification, and referral management accepted.
• 3-5 Years Healthcare - Required
• 2-3 Years Continence Care - Preferred
• 3-5 Years Pre-Certification - Required
