Full-time Fitness Specialist_ opportunity at OceanView at Falmouth_

As a member of the Fitness Team you will find your work meaningful and satisfying, using your exceptional customer service skills to serve our residents’ needs by leading exercise classes, personal training sessions and participating in exercise science educational presentations.

This position is responsible for all aspects of leading group exercise, personal training residents, keeping detailed records, and maintaining the fitness workspaces. The primary roles of this position will be to teach aquatic exercise, fitness classes for assisted living residents and work with employee health and wellness with fitness classes and personal training. This is truly a unique opportunity for a fitness professional who is interested in a variety of experiences and challenges.

This full time, year round position is scheduled in 8 hour shifts sometime between 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

A Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree required.

Certification in personal training is required; American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) preferred, other nationally recognized certifications will be considered. Additional certification in group exercise or water aerobics is a plus. Current CPR certification required or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
