Expected Base Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000/year

The Personnel Manager will assist the Personnel Department in managing all functions of the field staff within Field Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and uphold the mission, values, and culture of the organization
  • Serves as conduit between field team and Senior Management. Ensuring field team members are receiving support and feedback.
  • Tracks employee-related inquiries and concerns, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to Sr. Management and/or HR.
  • Audits pay parities regularly and ensures accuracy in payroll systems.
  • Partners with management and staff to support departmental and corporate goals
  • Track and conduct job evaluations and reviews on field staff.Gather feedback and have consistent conversations with team members
  • Identifies skill set and potential of field team members.Collaborates with Development & Growth team for training needs based on skill sets tracked.
  • Cross training across departments with emphases on HR. Ensuring accuracy of team member information across departments
  • Conduct employee progressive action plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet the needs of the company
  • Conduct interviews and assist with hiring events
  • Assist in onboarding, introducing a new employee to all the systems and training requirements.
  • Travel to Job sites for face-face time with the field team
  • Ensure employees have the proper clearance and certifications required for scheduled assignments.
  • Assist with managing employee schedules including PTO, Retainer rotations, and requested times off.
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Skills and Specifications

  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Ability to perform advanced levels of discretion when dealing with PII and handling sensitive information
  • Exceptional organizational skills and business acumen
  • Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends and collaborate with assigned business partners to resolve matters expediently and thoroughly
  • Self-managed/Independent worker but also great coordination skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro DC, PowerPoint, and email communications. Previous ADP knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibility within Field Operations

Work Environment

This job operates in professional office environments or remotely in field environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets canners, and presentation materials. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, and stand. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. may occur. Employee will be required to travel (at organization expense) in automobile and/or aircraft.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based remotely. Hours associated with contract work varies by contract. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.

Travel

Travel with this position is required – up to 50% or as needed depending on level of business.

Required Education and Experience

  • 5 years’ relevant managerial experience is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is desired

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

  • Must be able to travel CONUS
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check
  • Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
