We are looking for an experienced and influential pharmacy leader with a passion for service development, strong commercial acumen and an awareness and interest in the external pharmacy and healthcare market.

The Pharmacy and Healthcare Development Manager will work at a senior level both internally and externally, developing strong external relationships in the pharmacy and healthcare markets. They will work closely with our Pharmacy and Regional teams to support the strategic development and delivery of the pharmacy plan. This will involve a focus on both items growth and service development. They will also have a critical role in representing Boots in the external market, developing long term relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, senior Pharmacist leader with potential to step up into a new challenge.

You will need to be excited about the future of pharmacy and be creative in the role that Boots can play as a key healthcare provider. You will need to be strong at relationship building, working at pace, resilience and be a self-starter. Previous experience with external pharmacy and healthcare bodies would be desirable, and will need to have the flexibility of working pattern to meet the needs of a pharmacy across the region.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek and build exceptional relationships with key external pharmacy and healthcare bodies and act as their point of contact within Boots Ireland
• Work on local developments with external pharmacy and healthcare partners using insights to maximise Boots Ireland opportunities for profit generation and development of customer and patient care
• Actively influence the external pharmacy and healthcare agenda to the advantage of Boots Ireland
• Generate new pharmacy related income and profit for Boots Ireland
• Deliver Divisional Dispensing and Pharmacy services revenue and profit targets
• Lead the implementation of healthcare development initiatives and engages line leaders to deliver sustainable change
• Work in collaboration and partnership with the wider support office pharmacy function
