PHLEBOTOMIST ROLE
Assemble and set up phlebotomy supplies
Verify a patient identity while following all HIPAA guidelines
Check vitals
Make sure the patient is comfortable and in a good position to draw blood
Draw blood and IV administration
Observe if the patient has any negative reactions to the procedure
Maintain a clean and sanitary space; sterilize supplies properly
Follow all biohazard protocols

PHLEBOTOMIST QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy Technician certificate or license (preferred)
OSHA Certified
BLS Certified
6+ months of phlebotomy experience a plus
Understanding of standard blood drawing practices and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Able to stand on feet, bend, and move throughout shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
