Responsibilities Include:

• Loving God and loving His children
• Agreeing with the BCS Statement of Faith
• Working cooperatively with BCS teachers and staff to meet the needs of each student and the school
• Planning and implementing physical education lessons to meet grade appropriate physical education standards, as set by the Colorado Department of Education
• Creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for students of all abilities to learn and practice a variety of physical exercises and skills
• Setting and managing behavioral expectations in a dynamic environment
• Instilling students with the confidence, motivation, education, and abilities to enjoy a lifetime of fitness
• Integrating Biblical principles and Godly character building into daily lessons
• Coaching students and coordinating school logistics for the annual track meet
• Managing P.E. equipment
• Being team-oriented and willing to serve in other capacities as needed, for daily duties and special events
• Exemplifying Godly character, serving as a positive role model for all students and their families, on campus and off
• Attending bi-monthy staff meetings and quarterly teacher inservice days
• Becoming a committed member of the Bookcliff family and God’s ministry at BCS, working together toward our shared vision.Vision: By God’s grace and guidance, BCS is shaping student leaders with a steadfast, immovable love for the Lord and people, through a Christ-centered, rigorous education.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $6,500.00 - $7,500.00 per year
