As a physical therapist of Pearl Physical Therapy Lifestyle Medicine, you will be working in tandem with our Clinical Exercise Specialists to deliver holistic care to patients in need. Lifestyle Medicine focuses on the 6 Pillars of Health: Exercise, Nutrition, Stress Management, Restorative Sleep, Substance Avoidance, and Socialization. With this in mind, we can address not just the immediate problem that arises but also proactively address issues that may impact the overall health of the individual.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to discuss their medical history, symptoms, and needs.
• Perform tests and measures on patients to identify potential and existing clinical problems.
• Diagnose patients and develop an effective treatment plan that meets their needs.
• Manage patient movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional capabilities.
• Teach patients therapeutic exercises and techniques to help improve their condition.
• Restore, maintain, and promote non-optimal physical functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries.
• Maintain patient records and evaluate ongoing progress through documentation procedures.
• Implement and adjust patient treatment plans as needed to achieve anticipated goals and expected outcomes.
• Provide interventions (the interaction and procedures used in managing and instructing clients - both in the clinic as well as on telemedicine as needed. )
• Conduct re-examinations as needed.
• Create a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Prior to leaving for the day, ensure that your workstation and treatment room is clean, equipment is put away and returned to the proper area.
• Assist in the education and training of fellow employees as well as students.

Requirements:

• Must meet and maintain New York Licensing requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA Compliance.
• Valid New York State driver's license.
• Transportation to and from work or any other work related errands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,500.00 - $68,500.00 per year
