Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary:

Our Rehabilitation Clinic is looking for a motivated and highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Hammonton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses that affect their mobility. As a PTA, you will be responsible for providing treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the patients. You will also be responsible for educating patients and their families about the exercises and treatments they require.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with the Physical Therapy team to assess and evaluate patient needs and create a treatment plan
• Implement exercises and treatments as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide one-on-one treatment to patients, aiding them in performing exercises and other activities as part of their treatment plan
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist
• Teach patients and their families how to perform exercises and implement treatment plans outside of the clinic

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of New Jersey
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude
