Duties for This Position
As a Physician Receptionist you will work under the general direction of the physician. The receptionist greets patients, answers and operates a multiline telephone system, schedules appointments, updates necessary personal patient information in the database and performs other duties related to the efficient operation of the doctor’s office. Many of the tasks require independent judgment at a level not requiring constant supervision.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
One year clerical experience in a clinic environment is preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of medical office procedures and processes helpful. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
