Position Summary
The Powder Coat I position is responsible for preparation of the material to ready it to be powder coated.
Essential Functions
1. Prepare the material to be powder coated by taping off areas that are not to receive the powder to prevent overspray.
2. Hang the material so it is available to be sprayed on all sides with the powder coat spray.
3. Spray the powder coat mixture on the material using the correct color and consistency.
4. Move the sprayed material to the oven ensuring it is at the correct temperature and baking for the correct amount of time to ensure a quality adhesion of the spray.
5. Review the product after baking to ensure all areas have been covered and the bake went as needed.
6. Remove the tape from the part and applying touch up spray as needed.
7. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
8. Maintain 5S in work areas.
9. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

- Lenoir City, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
