Position

We are seeking a Printer and Copier Repair Trainer to join our technical training team in the Beaverton, Oregon area. This position will be based at Pacific Office Automation’s main campus in Beaverton but could include up to 30% travel over the course of the year.

We are looking for experienced trainers but are willing to invest in the right service technician who has relevant experience and a desire to take on training responsibilities.


Essential Job Duties

  • Conduct Copier and Printer Repair training and certifications
  • Schedule and conduct technical training for copiers, printers, and other office technology as assigned
  • Developing customized training solutions to help upskill service technicians in the field when other training solutions don’t already exist
  • Communicating key-stakeholders at all levels of an organization to accomplish tasks and progress efforts
  • Manage data related to technical training and training needs and effectively communicate that data with a variety of tools (Excel, PowerPoint…)
  • Attend train-the-trainer sessions as assigned
  • Shadow field technicians as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience as a copier/printer service technician
  • 1 year experience as a technical trainer preferred
  • Reasonable equivalent combination of experience as a technical trainer and service technician
  • CompTia CTT+ certification preferred but not required
  • CompTia Net+ certification preferred but not required
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office software and SharePoint (SharePoint preferred but not required)
