Morgan Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Services offers high quality outsourced administration and banking services to Institutional investors (pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations) known as Limited Partners (LP). J.P. Morgan enables institutional investors to focus on building wealth - while we take care of all their administrative needs.

The Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Services group ("PERES") has over 390 highly skilled professionals with decades of experience in private equity accounting and operations, and offices in New York, Dublin, the Channel Islands, Hong Kong, and Luxembourg. J.P. Morgan has invested in a market-leading technology solution to be able to service clients in a secure, confidential environment with strong controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review & oversight of EMEA client deliverables and reporting in accordance with SLDs, ensuring a high level of client service.
  • Understand client relationships and expectations and ensure client deliverables are timely and accurate.
  • Build strong relationships with PERES Senior Operations management globally as well as product, sales, risk, legal, compliance, internal audit, Operations Control Management, etc;
  • Ownership of timely resolution of client queries
  • Identify issues and escalate to Management on a timely basis.
  • Strong appreciation and execution of internal controls, checklists and procedures.
  • Assist/support clients with special projects and requests
  • Coordinating and implementing internal projects;
  • Collaborate with on-boarding team in relation to new business.

Background:
  • Experience in the Private Equity Portfolio Administration business.
  • Experience in the alternatives business.
  • Burgiss Private Equity platform application suite knowledge preferred.
  • Attention to detail is key to the success of this role
  • Candidates must not only take responsibility for meeting all client service levels, but be able to demonstrate an understanding of the control environment and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other such applications
  • Proactive attitude, ability to multi-task and work to tight reporting deadlines
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills and to be able to effectively liaise with other JPM operational departments as well as clear and concise responses to client queries
