Our Global Supply Chain business unit has approximately 17,000 employees, working from 54 production sites in 19 countries. We supply hygiene products for our business areas Consumer Tissue (Toilet paper, Household towels, Handkerchiefs, Facial tissues, Wet wipes and Napkins), Professional Hygiene (TORK) and Personal Care (Incontinence Products, Feminine Care and Baby Care). The unit was formed on June 1, 2019 by merging the two entities Supply Chain Development and Global Manufacturing. Prior to 2019, the unit operated in two separate entities, known as GHS Tissue and GHS Personal Care.

About the Role
Essity Supply Chain/Manufacturing North America is currently seeking a Process Engineer for our manufacturing plant located in Harrodsburg, KY.

This role serves as the day-to-day owner of the machine processes and process control systems for the plant. Owns and manages the development of troubleshooting skills of the manufacturing professionals. Acts as a subject matter expert for the machine processes. Participates and/or leads in Continuous Improvement projects. Helps to identify and support projects that will improve productivity, waste, quality and safety performance on a long term basis.

What You Will Do
- Is a Role Model for Safety;
- Sets, monitors and improves the processes according to Statistical Process Control methodologies;
- Sets and saves process settings and standards (center lining, CIL) and facilitates the application of standards/systems;
- Support product/material development and project implementation according to Design for Six Sigma Master DDS zero loss flow chart and coach teams in the application;
- Own technical gap analysis of his/her area of responsibility;
- Lead small group activity in own technology area because Is the expert for process and technology for his/her lines;
- Responsible to improve the results Is ultimately responsible for continuously optimizing the production processes in a sustainable way through RCA and standardization;
- Is responsible for training and coaching the operation teams to improve behaviors to the defined standards and procedures.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Paper Science preferred, but we will consider other engineering disciplines as well;
- Minimum of 2 years of process engineering experience required (manufacturing related internship/co-op could be included for experience requirement);
- High speed equipment experience preferred;
- Maintenance planning or Continuous Improvement methodologies experience preferred;
- Project management experience preferred;
- Skilled in SAP or another Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Mill Execution Systems (MES);
- Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point;
- Ability to lead teams through change and improvement.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
