Highly motivated and energetic person to assist process engineering functions within the Simpsonville Innovation Center. This individual will support process control, production and quality control activities related to the manufacture of high-performance tantalum capacitors. He or she will work under the direction of the Process Engineering Manager.

Job Description

• Establish and maintain metrics & indicators used to demonstrate process control & yield improvement
• Employ Six Sigma quality tools to enable root cause analysis for nonconforming product
• Gather & analyze data to support efforts to reduce cost & improve efficiencies
• Work in cross function team atmosphere to ensure the delivery of high quality components on schedule
• Commissioning & qualification of new equipment and technologies if required
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• BS Engineering & entry level to three years manufacturing experience (ME, ChE, EE preferred)
• Team first attitude, flexible, demonstrate a desire to provide solutions
• Must have strong analytical and computer skills; experience in statistics (SPC and DOE) strongly preferred
• Practical knowledge of manufacturing operations
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
• Must be able to work effectively across disciplines and communicate effectively
• Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment
