Description & Requirements

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Process Engineer to identify- initiate- and deliver Processing Engineering expertise and solutions that support Value Creation across yield- quality- food safety- and innovation. This role sits within our Research and Development team and will be responsible for developing a pipeline of Process Engineering enabled Value Creation opportunities that are aligned with Company and Cluster strategies.

Our ideal candidate is a leader who has demonstrated Project Management best practices to deliver projects with executional excellence and perform tasks in accordance with all Heinz Food Safety- Environmental- Health- and Safety standards.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Comply with all workplace EHS & Food Safety regulations and ensure timely closure of agreed corrective actions.
  • Assist Engineering Manager with Capital Projects to completion.
  • Assist with technical plant knowledge through a hands on and hands off approach.
  • Deliver innovative and continuous improvement ideas to reduce downtime caused by maintenance and equipment failures.
  • Manage part of the engineering and maintenance spend- identifying cost reduction opportunities.
  • Responsible for maintaining the department’s working environment to appropriate GMP/BRC standards.
  • Development/Maintenance of technical library and share knowledge from issues with the wider team.
  • Departmental engineering contractor management.
  • Develop cross functional relationships with internal customers and suppliers to maximize the effectiveness of the manufacturing function.
  • Actively communicate out issues to the wider team and keep updates flowing where customer service is affected.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Engineering Degree
