Position Title – Signal and Image Processing Engineer

Location – San Diego

Shift – M-F 8-5

Pay Rate – $40-$60

Signal and Image Processing Engineer Job Description:

• Our diagnostic products support patient testing and clinical decisions in point-of-care settings, hospitals, clinical laboratories, and blood banks around the world. You will work on the algorithms that allow us to provide fast, accurate, and reliable results to patients and clinicians using our products. You will leverage your expertise in both signal and image processing to increase sensitivity of our systems and enable new capabilities for future products. Your work will be deployed to instruments all over the world to help people take charge of their health.

Signal and Image Processing Engineer ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design, develop, and implement signal and image processing algorithms to support diagnostic platforms.
• Participate in research, design, development, and integration of imaging systems and detectors.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define system needs.
• Create specifications and requirements for signal and image processing pipelines.

Signal and Image Processing Engineer Experience Requirements-

• PhD + 0 years or MS + 3 years in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science
• Solid experience in pattern recognition and image processing
• Strong background in computer vision or image processing algorithm design
• Experience in feature extraction/selection, classification, quantitative measurements
• Strong programming skills (Python, C/C++)
