Interim Healthcare is a Temporary Staffing Agency looking to hire a Procurement Specialist for a Full-Time Temporary Assignment. This position has the opportunity to work remote or in office. The hours will typically be Monday - Friday 8A - 5P. The assignment is expected to last through December 2024.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the creation of COVID response shopping carts in the procurement system (PPS.)
• • Verify purchases are within Charter 68 regulations
  • Verify contract rules and regulations for various purchases
  • Gather all required documentation and approvals prior to entering the shopping cart and save in appropriate folders for expense documentation
  • Communicate with County Departments to confirm purchases and returns timely
• Provides Financial, Clerical and Administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate report of COVID response purchases.
  • Ensure that reports balance with financial statements
  • Review report for discrepancies and make corrections as necessary
  • Coordinates with various County Department to compile reports
  • Confirms that reports comply with program regulations and reporting guidelines
• Special projects as assigned by the Finance Department, Internal Auditors or other Sedgwick County Staff.
