Summary of Position

The Product Line Manager works with the Director of Marketing and Head of Studio, they are responsible for helping to grow the success of our game lines through data analysis and creative problem solving. They work collaboratively with teams throughout the entire global Asmodee organization to gather and analyze data, and then use that data to create solutions that help maintain and grow successful product lines throughout our catalog. At its core, this role requires a business minded perspective focused on finding creative solutions to product, sales, inventory, and education challenges and opportunities. It requires a high level of intellectual curiosity to both identify and generate those solutions for factors that directly and indirectly impact business results.

Essential Functions

• Develop a deep understanding of the assigned product lines to best meet the needs at all stages of a product’s life cycle.
• Spearhead product budgeting and active line analysis.
• Analyze product pricing and margin to ensure continued product viability and success. This also includes being an active stakeholder in the reprint process.
• Work with Asmodee North American’s Publishing Services to identify relevant reports on inventory, sales, margin, and other data with the goal of using that data to identify revenue trends, inventory challenges, and market opportunities.
• Work with the studio’s internal teams to share insights and reporting with them around market and consumer analysis. Finding ways to make data more digestible and actionable for non-data minded teams is essential.
• Communicate needs and maintain strong working relationships with other departments within Asmodee. (Senior studio leadership, Publishing Services, Distribution, Marketing, Design, Production, Organized Play, Licensing, etc.)
• Manage and maintain regular reporting including deck development for formal presentations.
• Collaborate with our international Route to Market partners (RTM) to identify needs and opportunities that may be unique to their individual territories. This includes managing localization timing and associated costs.
• Some domestic travel required.
• All other assignments as required by management.

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Tabletop game industry experience is considered a plus.
• Experience working with licensed product lines is considered a plus.

• Exceptional project management skills must be able manage multiple projects and milestones.
• Exceptional communication skills; verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with data with an emphasis on generating results and implementing effective strategies.
• Ability to excel in a deadline driven, high-energy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong social skills used to yield results and foster a creative environment.
