Mission of the Job:

The Production Artist assists in all levels of production and works hand in hand with the Production Manager on all projects as they flow through the process. All customer supplied graphics and CNC cutting requests are reviewed and edited for optimal production efficiency and customer supplied art is reviewed and updated as needed for best results. Their proficiency in multiple graphics programs as well as modern printing procedures allows them to be go-to person for everything relating to production graphics. Standard and custom project files are created consistently and stored in and organized file bank of all products cut files and print files. The Production Artist works with the Sample Coordinator to ensure all inventory is stocked. They will also be working through product development processes, helping to ensure timelines are met and details are consistently updated.

Key Objectives:

● Creates and updates all graphic files for standard and custom projects, ensuring each job is fabricated according to specific project details. Product imagery and cut files are cataloged on a consistent basis for easy access.

● Project and product folders are organized and accurate, making sure all work is update to date..

● Samples are coordinated and fabricated with adequate levels for stock inventory or for custom projects.

● The Product Development team is updated to ensure details related to product launches are organized and detailed, ensuring timelines are met for launch dates.

● Zund and printer operation is monitored to ensure both are operating safely and at full capacity.

Experience, Skills, Qualifications:

● High School Diploma required

● College degree in Graphic Design or related field recommended

● 1-2 years of experience in a print production facility with prepress experience

● 2-5 years of Graphic Design experience

● Proficient in Adobe CC/Illustrator

● Proficient with G Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

● Ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines

● Ability to take initiative
