Sitka Northwest Packaging Associate
Sitka NW is looking for Full-Time Packaging Associates to join our team at our wholesale facility in Portland, OR.
This is a Full-Time position in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment. The ideal candidate is organized, good with direction and follow through, and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to multitask to stay on task.

Ability to excel in a fast-growing/fast paced environment and deliver accuracy while managing to reach deadlines where adaptability is imperative.
Weighing material(s), counting items, labeling, packaging bags and boxes into a variety of completed products while also ensuring the highest quality by performing constant quality checks throughout the day.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Accurately weighs product on table top scale or weighing machine and to company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking.
- Keeps the product properly stored and labeled to be in compliance with state law.
- Apply final labels to the final product and ensure all labeled information is in compliance with state laws.
- Supports and adheres to company Standards of Conduct & Discipline.
- Maintains a clean and organized work space throughout the day and participates in end of shift cleaning tasks.
- Assists other departments as necessary or assigned.
- Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
- Adhere to all company quality standards.
- Perform final quality assurance inspections on products.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment. Must have strong attention to detail.
- Active Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) Marijuana Worker Permit.
- Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Compensation
$15/hr, whichever is the greater amount. Paid Holidays, PTO.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
