As a Manager of an Elementary Production (EPU) team you will lead all the manufacturing activities for our projects, including the direct supervision of all the operators of the manufacturing organization who belong to the EPU. Additionally, you will drive project execution, ensuring that we maintain our production flow. You will be involved in assisting in data management activities and deployment for our GSI/AOS systems.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


  • Collaborating on supply chain setup, quality plan validation, and industrialization activities
  • Managing requests for training & qualification of operators, requests for hiring, and sub-contracting
  • Leading the finalization of manufacturing preparation for activity within the EPU
  • Collaborating internally on continuous improvement of SQCD performance of the activity in the EPU
  • Hiring, coaching, and developing your team, with a focus on driving occupational safety

Your success will be determined by your ability to drive continuous improvement on all Key Performance Indicators which include customer delivery percentage, work rate, and hours per job. Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing operations or similar
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in rail or transportation industry
  • Proven leadership competencies
  • Working knowledge of industrial management and manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Deep understanding of Environment, Health, and Safety rules and regulations

Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED is required
  • Bachelors or Associates degree is preferred
