The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing, blending, filtering and packaging of chemicals in accordance with Company SOP’s and work instructions. Positions available in Milledgeville, GA and Gordon, GA .

Ability to pass drug and background screenings is a MUST.

Facial Hair and Respirator Requirement: Proper PPE is required to be worn by all employees in required areas. PPE includes the use of Facial Respirators for Operators. Per OSHA Respiratory Protection standard, paragraph 29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A), respirators shall not be worn when facial hair comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interferes with valve function. Facial hair is allowed as long as it does not protrude under the respirator seal, or extend far enough to interfere with the device's valve function. Short mustaches, sideburns, and small goatees that are neatly trimmed so that no hair compromises the seal of the respirator usually do not present a hazard and, therefore, do not violate paragraph 1910.134(g)(1)(i).

Responsibilities:

• Inspects, cleans and fills drums, totes and bulk storage tanks.
• Inspects all assigned machines and equipment daily to ensure efficient operation.
• Attends all mandatory training.
• Operates machinery as outlined in training and as directed by supervisor.
• Transports raw materials and finished products to and from warehouse and production area.
• Ensures all materials being loaded into the machines are correct.
• Draws samples of products.
• Completes all paperwork accurately, neatly and according to SOP by the end of each shift.
• Performs all duties outlined in relevant SOP’s and all other duties to be assigned.
• Operates a powered lift truck safely and proficiently.
• Maintains safety awareness related to the position including any safety precautions necessary when involved in activities in the manufacturing areas.
• Adheres to all required safety programs and procedures to include applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Attention to detail
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings
• Ability to withstand outdoor temperatures
• Fork Lift Experience preferred
