Amazing opportunity to join a well-stablished manufacturing company in the North Andover, MA area. The position is for a Production Supervisor with a background working with molding. Main Responsibilities:

• Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices and SOP’s as defined by the company’s policies, practices and procedures to insure that FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards are met
• Insures that all assigned employees know, understand and practice GMP’s, SOP’s and established policies, practices and procedures
• Troubleshoot and monitor molding processes to guarantee quality standards.
• Insures that all record keeping and documentation is completed according to established policies, practices and procedures on time
• Develops and recommends plans, programs and policies required to meet established objectives and, upon approval, obtain objectives
• Leads and motivates staff to obtain Company goals, including defining and communicating expectations and assignments, monitoring results, coaching, motivating and follow up to achieve goals. Lead in a manner that generates a team-oriented attitude
• Monitors employees, facility, equipment and processes related to safety. Recommend improvements and, upon approval, implement. Train employees in safety practices
• Continuously reviews methods, procedures, processes, etc. to determine improvements related to quality and cost to increase efficiencies, upon approval, makes recommendations and implements
• Supervises and motivates subordinates to produce products according to quality and cost-standards on time, according to GMP’s and SOP’s
• Maintains efficiency and quality according to established specifications and procedures
• Responsible for department housekeeping according to GMP‘s and SOP’s
• Resolves production problems
• Monitors scrap, efficiency, utilization, inventory and sales

Desired qualifications:

• Prior experience working for molding technology companies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Prior supervisory experience
• Thorough knowledge of safety specifications and procedures
• Understanding of quality standards and systems including Statistical Process Control and other quality measurements
