Job Description


Turner & Townsend
are hiring a Project Coordinator to provide program support services for a technology client on their tenant and fit out real estate construction program in the Austin, Texas area.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the PMO Manager and the Cost Lead and will report to the Commission lead.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the PMO Team.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly project controls report and other progress reports to the client.

  • Track and report cost savings.

  • Maintain the standards, processes, procedures, and deliverables for all reporting activities for assigned delivery team.

  • Conduct background research, data collection and benchmarking.

  • Liaise with the client, contractors and designers.

  • Respond to ad hoc requests for data and tools.

  • Document control.


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

The candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant project management experience in commercial office tenant fit outs for technology or similar clients.

The candidate should at a minimum bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related construction degree; or equivalent years of transferable field experience.

The candidate should have the following technical skills:

  • A basic knowledge of Project Management methods and best practices.
  • Technology competent in using the following Software: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

The candidate should have the following soft skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a diverse range of personalities across clients and partner organizations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.

Valued but not required:

  • The candidate has experience working in the data or tech industry .

The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience in using electronic Project Management tools.
  • Experience with power BI.
