Job Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with the relevant Purchase Order/Contract for the project in question
• Ensure Customer satisfaction at all times
• Full Profit and Loss accountability for the project
• Preparation & implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental Plans & Procedures, Quality Plans & Procedures and Methodology and Method Statements
• Responsibility for ensuring overall project progress is in conformance with the contract schedule & costs
• Ensuring quality levels in engineering, procurement and site erection are consistent with requirements
• Ability to interpret and implement Critical Path Network requirements and to strictly adhere to the schedule and all aspects of the contract.
• Ability to recognize problems and convene meetings with in house staff, sub contractors and/or suppliers to negotiate or solve any problems before work progress is affected.
• Interpret contracts and develop contractual related documents for issue to clients and suppliers.
• Contracting, assigning and monitoring the performance of site-based Management, staff & resources
• Create risk analysis and mitigation, cash flow, schedule, and costing information
• Provision of both management and technical leadership around all aspects of the Project.
• Ensure that all documentation of the completed work is monitored, tracked and collated in accordance with the Schedule.
• To comply with the existing site Reporting Processes and Procedures, whilst offering advice and recommendations to the Project Director/Client by identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Preparation of contract claims including variations & extras.
• To attend and actively participate in the project daily and weekly construction meetings as required

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Exceptional knowledge of the detailed requirements of Schedule Management and Reporting Processes and Practices.
• Knowledge of power generation technology specifically Combined Cycle Power Plants
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Customer focused.
• Ability to hold and chair meetings with both the SEL Teams and the Client and End-Customer representatives.
• Ability to reduce large amounts of data to insightful observations, proposals and recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication at all levels.

Experience

• Extensive experience in a Project Management role in Power Generation field
• Senior customer facing experience

Education Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Power Generation field
• PMP preferable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel
