The role of a Design Assistance Project Manager is to prepare accurate, intuitive, and timely shop drawings for in the fabrication and installation of StoPanels. Preparing shop drawings will depend on close coordination of specialty contractors to complete structural engineering, BIM modeling and shop drawing production. Cooperation with Architects, General Contractors, engineers, 3D modeling teams, StoPanel Fabricators, and Installers is key to a successful outcome for a Great Lakes Prefabrication project.

Success in the role of Design Assistance Project Manager will be supported by a commitment to learning:

• Panel Layout
• Panel design parameters
• Cold formed steel shop drawing coordination & review
• Air & moisture barrier applications & detailing
• Panel finish applications & detailing
• Panel Transportation
• Panel installation
• Basic estimating

Required Skills:

• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Effective project management
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of building envelopes, steel stud framing or exterior finish systems.

Desired Skills:

• Building Information Modeling
• Revit

Salary: Minimum Salary $60,000 per year. Additional compensation available for relevant skills and experience. No experience required. Experienced professionals welcome and compensated appropriately for relevant skills & experience.
