This position reports to the Creative Services Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing topical news promos, image campaigns, public service announcements
• Support the News Department by creating content for various social media platforms.
• Create and maintain the “brandâ€� identity in the market
• Demonstrate strong producer skills to further department creativity
• Write captivating advertising copy targeted to our audience
• Actively engage in multiple social media platforms
• Participate in station events (appearances within the community, etc.)
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be able to create, conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit cutting edge content while also managing deadlines
• At least two years creating advertising is required
• Ability to understand and utilize social media effectively and strategically
• Advanced professional camera knowledge
• Advanced skills in Adobe products such as After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Ability to be a team player and work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
