If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately

• M.D. or D.O. is required, issued by a licensed medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility required, as issued by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Valid DEA and CDS license
• In possession of Maryland Medical License or ability to obtain
• Demonstration of ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

The Opportunity

• Location: Grace Medical Center, Baltimore, MD
• Report to the Medical Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health
• Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment services to patients in the outpatient behavioral health program.
• Provide patient care to patients 18 years and older

• Perform an initial evaluation on all psychiatric patients assigned to the service area

• Prescribe appropriate studies, consultations, interventions, treatments and medications.

• Review psychiatric care with the appropriate team
• Remain current on developments, trends, and research in the field
• No call required; Monday-Friday from 8 to 5 and no weekends
