We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter who works to gather, generate, and edit visual and written content for publications in (or associated with) Northern Colorado. We publish two monthly luxury magazines, Fort Collins City Lifestyle & Loveland + South Lifestyle. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant, high-growth marketing firm.

Our home office is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Candidate MUST be able to commute to home office as this role is IN-PERSON.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and execute editorial features under direction of CEO
• Edit articles from raw text into final publication
• Write features, product reviews, news blurbs, blog posts, and other copy as needed
• Generate social media content for Instagram accounts in collaboration with Marketing
• Correspond with readers, contributors, and other team members on a regular basis
• Test content for technical accuracy and recreate/reshoot project steps as needed
• Search for acquisitions (projects, features, product reviews)
• Meet with team to discuss priorities, acquisitions, and scheduling
• Assist Editor, Magazines with planning issues
• Coordinate newsletter content and web material for each issue
• Plan and execute photoshoots with our team of media professionals
• Send ideas/proposals and materials to the CEO as they come in
• Help locate and prepare props for photo shoots
• Assist in planning for and representing magazines/TCA to the public
• Lead issue handoff meetings with marketing/sales in advance of each issue
• Assist other staff with questions and help to find a solution to complete the task at hand
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in media, publishing and/or journalism
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with luxury magazine industry and high-end lifestyle topics
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and design.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35,099.30 - $42,270.13 per year
