About the Job:
PDQ Skilled Trades is looking for a Quality Inspector in the Dallas area. The Quality Inspector is responsible for collecting and inspection of products/data obtained through the manufacturing process.

Shift:
M-F 8am-5pm

$26-28hr Depending on experience

Job Requirements:
o Pass a drug test
o Pass criminal background check, case by case

1. Technical Certification from Vocational or Career Center required
2. Associates Degree in a technical field desired
3. Professional certification in Quality (such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector)
4. 1 or more years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
5. 1 or more years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience (Quality Inspector II)
6. Corrective Action and Internal Audit experience is a plus (Quality Inspector III)

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect product and data collection for various processes (machines) based on intervals set forth by quality procedures.
• Report inspection findings (good vs bad) in the form of data entry, paper forms and email correspondence.
• Perform first article inspection (Display Check) and crate inspection report using Word and Excel
• Able to read and interpret Job Tickets and Manufacturing Plans
• Able to conduct testing based on documented procedures.
• Perform incoming inspection against material specs to determine product compliance.
• Assist Quality Supervisor with determining root cause for customer complaints during the investigation process.
• Follow organizations safety guidelines.
• Check to make sure tools and equipment required to run a job are in place and being utilized, as well as within the calibration cycle.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality checklists.
• Perform accurate counts (inventory, samples)
• Perform incoming product quality inspections (QA)
• Assist in performing process capability studies.
• Assist in performing and analyzing FMEA, APQP, and PPAP exercises.
• Assist in developing and implementing basic SPC control charting.
• Look for opportunities to error proof our processes.
