JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, space and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. Perform as QA lead for the National Space Training and Testing Complex, located in Colorado supporting the development and integration of the Transportable Range Operations Center development.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Develops, implements, executes, measures, and recommends improvements for Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, and Performance Measurement processes for JT4 operations in Colorado Springs, CO.

  • Assesses and recommends improvements for all business and technical processes.
  • Supports the research of new technologies, processes, and products to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assists in analyzing and making disposition of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assists others in the development and release of process and product documentation.
  • Plans, develops, executes and maintains work location audit/assessment programs.
  • Supports leadership for Quality Assurance functions.
  • Manages Quality functions at assigned locations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Usually in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting, significant use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning and organizing skills, and be able to work under deadlines. Occasional work performance in a field environment involving remote locations, warehouse environments, flight line environments, machining and manufacturing environments, and outdoor assignments. Ability to travel using various means of government or contractor transportation.

If working in a training capacity, employees must be supervised at all times by a competent trained or certified company employee. Under no circumstances should employees use another employee's equipment without permission from their immediate supervisor or manager. Conversely, employees should not allow other JT4 employees or employees of another employer to use JT4 owned or assigned equipment without proof of training and approval of the shop manager.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent education or a minimum of six years related technical or business experience. Minimum of 4 years direct work experience in Quality Assurance with progressive responsibilities. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications required (specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Ability to learn and use other software applications is required. Preferred certification by the American Society for Quality in at least one of the following: Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer, or Certified Software Quality Engineer.

SALARY

The expected pay range for this position is 73K to 107K

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4 LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
