You are a Quality Engineer or a Civil Engineer with quality assurance experience and a strong civils background. You are looking to work for a leading Irish Contractor that has long term work in the Cork area. Your next role is based in Cork on €multi-million Civils developments consisting of water pumping stations, the construction of new water mains and new wastewater networks in addition to the upgrade of existing water mains.

Quality Engineer Skills:

The Quality Engineer role would suit someone with 2-3+ years Engineering experience with a Quality Assurance background. Water experience would be beneficial.

As Quality Engineer:

Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out construction inspections to verify BCAR/ Works requirements
• Ensure thorough investigation of Quality issues using Root Cause Analysis methodology
• Participate in the review of quality trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Participate in and support the internal and external audit programmes
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Adhere to all company EHS guidelines and Quality procedures

The Package:

An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of €50,000 – €60,000 (negotiable), vehicle allowance, fuel, pension, private medical insurance, Christmas bonuses and social committees with regular social events happening
