Pall Corporation (part of Danaher Corporation) is looking for future R&D leaders who can deliver innovative solutions to the most difficult technological challenges across a broad range of industries.

To be successful, you will need to be an enthusiastic and open-minded Scientist / Engineer with a record of academic achievement and a desire to lead and manage demanding projects and project teams. Excellent communication, teamwork, personal-growth aspiration, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

During the two-year program, you will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry and will take part in four, six-month assignments engaging your technical and leadership skills. In these assignments, you will experience first-hand many facets of R&D – cutting-edge research; project management; process application studies; product design using tools like our proprietary in-house filter design modules; prototype manufacture and testing; and product transfer to manufacturing.

You will receive both on-the-job training and also specialized learning on key Danaher Business System tools like the Problem-Solving Process, Kaizen, and Visual Project Management. These, plus personal mentoring by senior managers and engineers, will enable you to develop the skills needed for key positions within the future organization. Upon successfully completing the program, you will have many opportunities to accelerate your career growth and development through our key talent pipelines for various roles within our technical organization.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Data Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, or Physics and proved leadership through participation in community, professional, or extracurricular activity.

Position Objective:

Performs research (biology, chemistry, mechanical, software, etc.) to generate analytical data for internal and/or external clients. Responsible for the investigation of new technologies and experimentation directed at the practical application of scientific theories. Assures that programs meet scientific objectives and are aligned with customer needs. Builds relationships with industry/technology key opinion leaders.
