The Space Planner will have a strong emphasis on supporting real estate operations critical to ensuring consistent delivery and highest performance levels for Space Utilisation, Move Management, CAD and facilities support. You will be comfortable interacting with Apple corporate business functions & customers at all levels and provide structured and / or ad-hoc timely and accurate status reporting.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Construction management, Facilities Engineering or with proven relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about Customer Services and end-user experience.
  • Self-starter and capable individual contributor.
  • Project Management experience an advantage.
  • A”can do” work ethic and demonstrated excellent problem solving skills.

Description

• Understand the company’s business and objectives in order to develop space plans that are aligned with the Real Estate Plan of Record. • Specialist space planner lead in Cork responsible for all aspects of space management including data analytics, workspace planning, strategic planning. • Lead a regular cadence of space updates, with a weekly exceptions report tracking space allocations, charge back, exceptions and seat assignment. • Develop space plans for new and existing facilities, taking into account factors such as capacity, layout, traffic flow, and ergonomics • Be competent in computer-aided design (CAD) software to create two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) models of proposed space plans and be proficient in data management. • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the final product meets or exceeds expectations • Be responsible for evacuations maps and small layout changes, in partnership with EMEA space planning. • Lead a number of facilities programs. • Coordinate Business Needs requests (as they relate to space) and complete scenario planning, produce drawings to support decision. • Be responsible for way finder signage, emergency response mapping and event map concepts. • Develop and own a furniture strategy to support existing real estate. • Ensure vendors compliance with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s. • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing space planning activities and results
