Job description
Under the supervision of the Project Director of the Vivitrol Increased Participation Program (VIPS) the Recovery Coach will be assisting sentenced and pre-sentenced men and women with opioid use disorder in their efforts to remain drug free once released from incarceration. The Recovery Coach will meet weekly with these individuals beginning two months prior to release. The Recovery Coach will improve ease of access and increase retention in community based services for justice involved individuals. This is a grant funded position.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or LADC/CADC or Recovery Coach Certificate
Bachelors Degree or LADC/CADC or Recovery Coach Certificate
Three years experience with substance use disorders/mental health issues
One year experience with criminal justice preferred
