Assisted Living Facility, located on Long Island, is expanding our team and is seeking enthusiastic and creative Recreation Therapists! You will be planning and implementing meaningful activities and programs for our residents in our Alzheimer'/Dementia and/or in our Assisted Living facility.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:

• Is able to plan appropriate activities that are engaging and meaningful to get our residents involved and excited.
• Must be creative, outgoing, energetic, reliable, patient, kind and caring, and is a team player.
• Is able to supervise and lead activities, special events and trips while monitoring safety of residents.
• Experience in recreation with geriatrics preferred. Background in Alzheimer's/Dementia is a plus.
• Degree in Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy needed.
• Covid vaccination is required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
