Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Act as a subject matter expert on protection and a resource for your personnel as well as your Protectee
• Lead a team of security personnel, provide guidance/training, and ensure conduct and proficiency meets GDBA's high standards for professionalism and integrity
• Routinely plan, audit, and inspect all security procedures and systems used for security operations, scheduled public appearances, travel security details, etc.
• Manage the personnel schedule effectively while balancing your teams' needs and the needs of the Protectee
• Respond to on-site emergencies or other critical events
• Coordinate or perform executive protection activities on an as-needed basis

Successful Candidates will have these attributes:

• Prior experience managing public figure protection/executive protection teams at the highest level of performance and Protectee expectation
• Wish to be of service and protect others
• Excellent communication ability
• Excellent health and fitness, able to pass physical fitness test
• Drug and nicotine-free
• Can pass a pre-employment background investigation
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of attentiveness and energy

Valuable Qualifications (though not required):

• Significant Military Background
• Experienced Law Enforcement Background
• If Private Security background, experience in Close Protection
• Ability to acquire or already in possession of CA CCW or LEOSA/HR-218 Firearm Qualification
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic experience
