Job Title: Regional General Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Status: Exempt

Function: Responsible for overseeing the successful operations of 2 or more clinics

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The Regional General Manager position oversees the strategic operations of multiple locations in one of the North East Markets. This position oversees the operational practices of all locations making sure each location runs efficiently and meets all sales goals while complying with all company policies and procedural requirements of the Prayus Group

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required for this position.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/TRAINING: College education preferred. At least 5 years in a General Manager position or equivalent preferred. Prior management, marketing, and sales experience in service/retail industry. Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectations and goals and delegate. Ability to effectively interact with and communicate expectations to staff. Able to communicate effectively with ownership. Proficiency in generating membership and retail sales goals and interpreting trends in reports as needed. Excellent training and motivational skills. Must have working knowledge of applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the operation of the business, including the massage therapy and esthetician services. Must have working knowledge and be able to navigate through ME Central, UBS, ATS/ ICIMS and MEEVO. Must be fully trained on all front desk positions (Wellness Consultant, General Manager and Operations Manager). Must be able to effectively train new employees in any front desk function. Knowledge of and compliance with all labor and employment laws applicable to clinic employees. General knowledge of modalities offered by Massage Envy and understands the healing benefits of massage therapy, bodywork, and skincare. Good time management and superior customer service skills are required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible and accountable for the performance of the field operations at the clinics. Specifically increase clinic revenue, growth of new members, increase closing rates and overall retail sales.

· Create and maintain professional and positive relationships with all staff members.

· Closely working with each General Manager to ensure clinic metrics and goals are being met.

· Works in multiple locations and managers across Connecticut. Regularly visiting each location.

· Responsible to cover shifts as necessary in Connecticut locations.

· Ensure locations are compliant with all company goals and initiatives. Including ensuring marketing materials are hung in the clinics and removed appropriately when expired.

· Must be able to create and/or change schedules, sell memberships, retail, and properly address escalated customer service issues.

· Update ME Central training for employees and check for status of training in progress or completion.

· Alongside the GM, coordinate, and plan Membership events

· Alongside the clinic General Manager, provide proper and timely coaching and/or counseling as necessary to ensure success for each staff member.

· Acts as the liaison on subject matters from corporate and communicate accordingly to managers and staff members. Including compliance with all annual training for all staff members.

· Must ensure compliance with corporate visits and specifically conduct routine file audits to ensure completion of required training and proper documents accompany the training and are properly filed accordingly. Conduct routine file audits with HR to ensure compliance at each clinic.

· Keep up to date on all corporate led initiatives and ensure approved initiatives are completed timely and correctly in each location.

· Provide on-site training for new initiatives and conduct on going sales training sessions (or coordinate the scheduling of, with the appropriate position) and ensure completion and proper documentation.

· Be on-site at locations to display proper selling techniques and properly address customer service concerns.

· Travel with transportation is essential.

· Participate in weekly conference calls with the ownership.

· Ensure all staff members at each location follow all company policies and procedures.

· Participates in routine networking with other businesses to promote the ME brand and schedule events.

· Must always maintain the utmost confidentiality and professionalism, in all circumstances.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with guests, members, staff, corporate representatives, franchise owners, HR and vendors. Must be able to use office equipment including telephones, computers/iPad /fax / copier /scanner. Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work flexible days/nights and hours. Follows all company policies, procedures, and direction.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
