Regional Primary Care Practice Manager
Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees the efficient organization of operations of all practices in assigned territory
- Manages practice staff in assigned territory
- Ensures compliance to policies and all state and federal regulations pertaining to billing and accounts receivables
- Act as the primary resource to find resolutions for all issues regarding practices within assigned territory
- Track all staff performance
- Assist in monitoring practice goals are reached for strategic initiatives
- Identify staffing ratios and executes recruitment strategies with appropriate resources
- Monitor productivity, patient flow, and scheduling to ensure efficiencies of practice operations
- Evaluate patient and staffing needs to made recommendations to leadership
- Performs compliance audits
- Follow all rules of OSHA
- Follow all state and federal regulations, guidelines, and labor laws
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years work experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of healthcare payors and terminology
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Practice management or outpatient office experience
- Passionate about providing healthcare to the senior and low-income populations
- Must be proficient with computer and office equipment
- Customer service training or experience in a related field where applicable
- Experience working in a physician office, skilled nursing center, or other healthcare setting
- Basic accounting knowledge (accounts receivables, accounts payables, payroll processing)
- Be open to professional development through training, obtaining certifications if necessary, and attending team meetings
- Eager to work in a collaborative healthcare setting to drive positive outcomes and achieve goals
JOB SKILLS:
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented with an ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
- Exhibit a customer service approach with teams and patients
- Strong time management skills required. Must be able to prioritize and adhere to competing deadlines while achieving goals
