Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Texas Region
Location: Work from home. Residing in Texas Strongly Preferred
Division: Owner & Public Sector - Local Government Sales

What You Will Do
You will sell Cityworks solutions to local government agencies in your region
Manage sales efforts in your sales region
Prospect, develop and track opportunities toward closure.
Call on decision makers at targeted organizations.
Develop strong business relationships with business partners
Become proficient at presenting Cityworks and other Trimble technology
Provide superior customer service, and maintain frequent and personal contact with existing customers to build strong relationships, long-term customer loyalty, and develop further potential upsell and cross sell opportunities.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
5 + years in Sales or Business Development within the GovTech space.
Solid knowledge of local government workflows and challenges with respect to citizen engagement, maintenance and operations, permitting and planning, and so forth.
Knowledge of Cityworks software is a plus.
Knowledge of Trimble technology is a plus.
Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS® is a plus.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.
Ability to think and act strategically as well as tactically.
Self-starter with a strong need for achievement.
Enjoys the challenge of being a significant part of a growing, developing organization.
Strong persuasion, reasoning, and negotiation skills.
Effective time management, decision making, analytical, and problem solving capabilities.
A high level of ethics, professionalism, and confidence.
Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude and an extremely strong drive.
A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to conduct product demonstrations.
Education
We are looking for self-starters who have experience selling enterprise software into the public sector. Who are well-organized, give effective presentations, speak well in front of others and can think creatively to help develop business. Who work effectively with others, nurture the buyer’s journey and can close deals.
A bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, technology, civil engineering, GIS, geography, or related field preferred.
Travel
You will travel approximately 25-50% of the time within your region meeting with potential customers. Occasional travel outside of your region to support trade shows or attend company meetings in Sandy, UT or Westminster, CO.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary plus commission.
Company benefit package includes 401k, ESPP, health, life, dental insurance.

As a Regional Sales Manager for the Texas Region, you will be working closely with sales and account managers on both existing and prospective customers to pursue opportunities and expand existing account activity. The market focus is in municipal and local government, public works, water & wastewater districts, community development, permitting and related segments.
