Rockwood South Hill is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Registered Dietitian. This position will be responsible for handling the day-to-day nutrition care for residents.

Job shift:

Full-time, 32 hours a week with flexible schedule

Pay Range: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Maintain client relationships and client satisfaction for the day-to-day nutrition care of residents
• Provide nutrition care to residents including documenting nutrition needs, calculating nutrition requirements, assisting with menu selections, checking meal accuracy and assessing customer satisfaction
• Collaborate and communicate with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, nutrition care, special diets and menu requests
• Stay current with the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications and standards of practice
• Probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Rockwood resources when necessary
• Comply with all federal state and local regulations as we well as Rockwood policies and procedures (e.g. HIPPA/Privacy Act, quality assurance, safety operations, personnel)
• Follow operating standards, implement quality improvements and communicate them to other departments
• Implement business practices in order to uphold company mission and values

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian Certification through the state of Washington
• 2 years Registered Dietitian experience/clinical time preferred or graduate degree
• Excellent attention to detail
• Time management and problem solving skills
• Effective oral, written, communication, and reading skills
