Virtuoso Sourcing Group has new projects and is expanding its operations in Tempe. VSG is a national company, headquartered in Colorado specializing in Customer Support, Customer Retention, Collection Agency, and Call Center activities. VSG supports large consumer services companies with customer support, collections, call overflow and customer contact load balancing. VSG also provides student loan rehabilitation support under a sub-contract with the US Department of Education.

About the role

Collections agents are generally responsible for managing and collection all the outstanding accounts receivables form clients and customers. In addition, they may be responsible for other aspects of collections, resolve customer billing problems and reducing the amount of accounts receivables.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to answer customer questions and resolve customer issues.
• Provide an elevated level of customer service
• Maintain customer confidentiality
• Collecting payments
• Negotiate payment arrangements
• Work diligently and consistently through an 8 hour day
• Use computers, automated systems, and a variety of software
• Successfully complete training and retain information that is taught
• Maintain call quality and compliance
• Follow guidelines regarding goals, attendance, policies and procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer Skills
