A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT HOST / HOSTESS

As a Restaurant Host / Hostess, you make a great first impression on our customers as they walk through the door. You warmly greet guests and lead them to their tables. Our guests appreciate your friendly demeanor as you ensure they're seated comfortably and supply them with menus. As a popular local restaurant, we're often busy, and your organizational skills make you the perfect person to manage our waitlist. You competently estimate wait times, take down names, and keep guests updated. You also hand off online orders when customers arrive to pick them up.

As an enthusiastic team player, you want to do everything you can to provide excellent customer service and facilitate a positive experience for our guests. Sometimes you'll jump in and bus tables so guests can be seated more quickly. You also make sure stations are kept properly stocked, and that the restaurant is clean and presentable. You're happy to lend a hand with opening or closing duties when needed. You enjoy being part of a tight-knit team, and you love putting smiles on the faces of our guests each day!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT HOST / HOSTESS

• 18+ years of age
• Customer service experience
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing throughout the shift, bending, climbing, moving quickly, and lifting up to 25 pounds

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RESTAURANT HOST / HOSTESS
