Part-Time Sales Assistant at The Sligo Wellness Shop

Job Description:

We are looking for a hard-working self-motivated individual to take up a part-time Sales Assistant role joining our busy store in Sligo town. The preferred candidate would ideally have a background in nutrition. This position consists of shifts from Monday to Saturday for a total of 20 hours per week. Our opening hours are from 8:30 am to 6 pm.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and thrive when faced with daily challenges.

We’re looking for someone who will be:

• Provide excellent customer care.
• Assisting customers.
• Ensuring stock levels are well maintained.
• Tidying and cleaning of shelves and all areas of the shop.
• Carefully pricing deliveries.
• Handling customer complaints.
• Maintain a professional and friendly manner at all times.
• Barista experience is desirable but not essential.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of health and nutrition is an advantage.
• A passion for nutrition and healthy living.
• Being a team player.
• Previous retail experience is an advantage.
• Previous health food store experience helpful.
• Any relative qualification would be an advantage (i.e.nutrition etc.)
