L. Mae Boutique, LLC is seeking an Inventory Manager to join our team. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all activities of warehouse operations. This includes, but is not limited to, directing and/or coordinating receiving, allocating, storing, and shipping operations within the organization. You will be working with a passionate, creative, and entrepreneurial team that loves creating unique, artistic retail experiences with a focus on pleasing our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises warehouse activities to ensure both incoming and outgoing products are handled properly and processed efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinates with management team to guarantee proper product rotation and allocation
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with retail division and store personnel
- Works with customers and vendors, when necessary, to resolve complaints such as damages, mis picks, out-ot-stock situations and shipping schedules
- Develops weekly, quarterly and annual goals
- Interfaces with management, transportation and buyers to maintain efficiencies
- Plans and assigns work for the most efficient use of personnel and processes
- Ensures the training, development, and performance of their team’s staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce that achieves their career objectives.
- Recruits and recommends qualified employees for their team’s positions.
- Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to ensure a mutual understanding of desired results; evaluates performance and achievement of expectations and desired results; resolves internal or external barriers that prohibit successful goal achievement.
- Understands the overarching company strategy while communicating and modeling the core values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong general knowledge of retail operations, with prior work experience including leadership or supervisory duties.
- Possess good leadership skills and the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results.
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret computerized reports.
- Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work activities.
- Basic computer skills required and personal computer experience helpful, with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- 2 years retail or warehouse supervisory experience. Minimum Associates degree with Bachelor’s degree preferred. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 30 lbs.
